Woodlands Preparatory School Mission Statement
The Woodlands Preparatory School’s mission is to convene an international learning community that develops students into leaders with integrity through rigorous academics, intercultural understanding, and service to humanity.  The Woodlands Preparatory School also supports the mission of the International Baccalaureate Organization.

International Education Philosophy

The International Baccalaureate philosophy is at the heart of our school. From early childhood through 12th grade, we provide a balanced, internationally-focused education grounded in a program of rigorous academics.

We know that students learn best when they are actively engaged in a challenging, interesting, and relevant curriculum. We encourage students to connect their learning to their own lives, to envision solutions to problems they care about, and wherever possible, to take action. We also know that they need opportunities to develop their unique talents, to explore new interests, to develop the skills of learning and self-management, and to form lasting connections with others. The key to making these ideals a reality is the IB Learner Profile, which states that students will be
